Highway 6, between Lumby and Nakusp is considered one of the best routes in British Columbia by motorists everywhere!
Motorcycle Circle Route
Lumby’s unique landscape provides the starting point for one of the best circle routes in British Columbia. Leaving behind the rolling hills of the Okanagan, you will see your backdrop transform as you make your way through the Monashee Mountains. The Needles Ferry serves as the gateway to the Kootenays, and Arrow Lakes provide some amazing scenery for your journey. Once you cross the ferry at Galena Bay, and enter into Revelstoke, you are on the home stretch. From here the open pavement of the Trans Canada Highway will steer you in the right direction. After entering Sicamous you will head South along the shores of Mara Lake until you once again enter the Okanagan. Highway 6, through Coldstream and Lavington will bring you back to the Beauty of Lumby where you can set your sights on the open road once again.
