Welcome to the Lumby & District region! Thanks for stopping by and taking an interest in our beautiful, unique area on the edge of the Okanagan. No matter what time of year you're planning to be here, you will find something to enjoy.

In the Spring, Summer and Fall you can get out hiking, golfing, fishing & hunting, swimming, boating, floating, biking, climbing, golfing, wildflife viewing, back road cruising....you name it! This area is a hot spot for paragliding and hang gliding, with epic updrafts and amazing terrain to glide over. You can visit the local indoor and outdoor markets, artisan galleries and wander along our Mural Walk.

Out for a road trip or just a bit of Sunday driving? We have routes through rustic countryside, past big mountains and along sparkly lakes that'll make you grin!

In the Winter, you'll find a mecca of snowmobiling terrain within an hour that ranges from perfectly groomed trails to big backcountry explorations. If powder and backcountry skiing is your thing, there are Heli Ski and Cat Ski operations that will take you up into the Monashee Mountain Range. If you're a walker, there are several trails in the area that are snowshoe friendly. Skating? There are outdoor and indoor rinks to choose from. Curling? Hockey? We have that too!

If you would like some ideas or need some information, please contact us at the Lumby Chamber by phone at 250-547-2300 or by email at lumbychamber@shaw.ca.
